Professional Focus: Gender Equality and Social Inclusion, Women’s Empowerment and Rights Extensive and excellent experience in the development and humanitarian sector, over 30 years with United Nations Agencies (UN Women, UNDP, UNIFEM, ILO, UNICEF) World Bank, USAID, DANIDA: as UNIFEM Head of Office, Senior Adviser, UNDP Chief Technical Adviser, UNDP Team Leader, Staff and Consultant; working in countries across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East, including in development, conflict-affected and post-conflict contexts.  Excellent leadership experience with UN/UNDP in senior management: providing strategic direction, policy support, technical assistance in gender related programs, design, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation. Strong experience in the development, conflict affected and humanitarian context.  Expertise in gender equality, women's empowerment and rights, gender integration in policies and programs across sectors; economic empowerment, women, peace and security issues, leadership and governance, and gender-based violence (GBV).  Strong track record of research and analytical skills, writing reports, technical papers and policy guidelines.  Expertise in evaluation of development programs applying participatory approaches and methodologies.  Solid experience in working in partnership building with government, civil society, and donors. Political sensitivity and expertise in working in multicultural contexts with strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills.  Substantive knowledge of International Conventions & Instruments, The 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, CEDAW, United Nations Security Council Resolution (1325) and others.
