I have two Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Civil & Mining along with Master of Engineering in Construction Management and professionally 20+ years of expertise in project management during design and construction, rehabilitation and upgrading of transportation, drainage, water storm and flood protection projects executed in developing countries within the multinational and multicultural team work environment. Furthermore, handled the project in initiation, business development, tender/contract administration, Contract cancellation/restoration, construction supervision, cost/schedule monitoring, progress/performance tracking and reporting throughout the project life cycle. Carried out bidders’ pre-qualification, tender documents’ preparation, bid evaluations, change orders & claims’ analysis and dispute resolutions. Prepared the Terms of Reference & Requests for Proposals, reviewed the consultants’ proposals and tracked the design deliverable of highways, bridges and municipal infrastructure. Managed the subcontracts (3rd party consultants) award for pre-engineering studies (i.e., Geo-technical Investigations, hydro-technical studies, Site Surveys, Socioeconomic & Environmental Impact Assessment). Monitored the activities during design & construction of roads, road crossings, storm water dykes/dams, open water channels, and erosion control structures within rural & urban areas. Coordinated with regulatory bodies for environmental permits, Land use Permits, community engagement and, with various levels of governments and other stake holders. Ensured the compliance to donors' standards, specifications and contractual obligations during project engineering & construction. Performed the project closeout, engineering consultants' performance evaluation, & audit response. Developed the Internal Administrative Procedures, checklists, and Control Compliance. Analyzed the construction cost trends & provided the latest forecast using the bidders’ estimates and awarded workload. Mentored the local employees regarding their professional development and career advancement. Conducted the joint ministries briefing for ministers, public open houses and media. Worked with Cross Ministry Committee for cost escalation and its mitigation.
