I am a senior project manager with 15+ years of experience directing multi-phase, complex environmental, health, and safety (EHS) and social development impact projects in the U.S. and Mozambique. As a trusted advisor, I am known for providing high-quality analysis, detailed reporting, and remediation recommendations. I have extensive knowledge of international standards, including International Finance Corporation performance standards, the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework, and ISO 14001. I am an expert communicator and public speaker fluent in both Portuguese and English. As the Senior Project Manager for ALC Environmental, I create high-quality deliverables for the launch and implementation of 100+ environmental site assessments per year. Leveraging my technical knowledge, I consult as a subject matter expert, facilitate job safety workshops, and provide discussions on improving indoor air quality. An advocate for public health and social development, I recently founded and run a non-profit organization called ASSEMA (Association for Health, Education, and Environment) whose goal is to promote environmental and health awareness by working with public schools. I am also an active member of the Alliance for Health, a network of 18 civil society organisations, where I advise on multiple initiatives, including the Right to Health educational campaign, framing communication across various media outlets. In addition, I serve as the master of ceremonies for all events, addressing topics such as hospital privacy, toxic masculinity, and obstetric violence.
