A true monitoring expert with over 20 years of experience pioneering monitoring initiatives on programs spanning health, governance, agriculture sectors funded by donors such as DFID, USAID, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Global Fund and UNITAID. Provides expert M&E technical guidance and support to 10 PSI Country teams of Country Representatives, M&E Directors/Managers and program managers to develop and strengthen robust M&E systems, generate evidence for performance improvement and drive digital innovations to increase data engagement. Having worked in more than 12 countries across Africa and Asia, Taurai has experience collaborating with people of diverse cultural backgrounds and brings a strong passion for application of basic M&E principles while harnessing technology innovations for effective monitoring & evaluation for impact. Taurai also has experience working with the Demographic Health Information System (DHIS2), DATIM, use of tablet-based data collection, GIS mapping, building capacity for evidence-based decision making including developing data to action frameworks and dashboards for data analytics in DHIS2, and Power BI. Taurai has strong computer knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access), statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, & econometric packages such as PCGIVE.
