With 20 years of international experience, I have played a key role in global development projects funded by the WB, ADB, FCDO, JICA, and BMZ. My expertise includes policy drafting, water ecology, climate-resilient urban planning, and sustainable development research. Notably, I contributed to Bangladesh’s 8th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) and developed a climate-resilient investment framework for municipal growth. I have extensively published on sustainable urban development. My notable works include: ✅ Hard Edges Scotland: New Conversations about Severe and Multiple Disadvantage – Winner of the 2019 Queen’s Anniversary Prize in Higher Education (UK). ✅ Social Capital and Neighbourhood Cooperation: Implications for Development of the Urban Poor in LDCs – Published in Urban Studies. ✅ Residential Stability of the Urban Poor in Bangladesh: The roles of social capital – Published in Cities. ✅ Urban microfinance and Urban Poverty in Bangladesh– Published in Journal of Asia Pacific Economy.
