I am an urban and regional planner with an expertise and experience both in research and professional practice in urban governance and spatial planning, participatory urban development, community development, community action research, urban regeneration, livelihoods support and local economic development, in southern Africa and in Europe. After my professional education and PhD, I worked with a wide range of stakeholders including local and provincial government, national and international donors and civil society organizations in developing inclusive and equitable urban regeneration strategies.
