Summary

A conservation policy and governance enthusiast, my areas of interest and experience include transboundary ecosystem management, regional cooperation and development policy, disaster risk reduction and capacity building of community-based institutions for conservation and alternative livelihoods. I have been working in the field of ecosystem-based climate adaptation, water resource management and protected area management for more than seven years. My core skill set includes multi-stakeholder negotiations and strategic engagement, policy advocacy on multi-country issues as well as strategy and programme development. Between 2014 to 2018, I co-led a three-country program of the WWF Network – Living Himalayas (Eastern Himalayas- India, Nepal, Bhutan) through strategic partnerships, with a particular focus on governments, finance sector and development partners.
