Wonu Owoade is the founder and director of WoW Fundraising Consultancy, which she established to raise awareness and encourage support for initiatives that wish to create positive and transformational social change with values rooted in anti-racism and anti-oppression. Wonu has over 15 years of experience in fundraising and has worked with several global development and social impact organisations. She has worked with foundations and government donors based in Europe, the US, Africa and Asia, building relationships with key decision-makers. Throughout her career, Wonu has learnt considerably about what motivates donors and fundraising best practices. She is also a strategic and analytical thinker who has provided coaching for leadership and fundraising teams around various aspects of fundraising, including grant writing, prospect research, donor cultivation and stewardship, and diversifying income streams.
