Job Description

Your Mission

Key Responsibilities

1. Photography and Videography Support for BSI

• Capture high-quality photos and video footage to support the BSI mission.
• Join field visits, workshops, and training sessions with partner companies to gather visual content.
• Develop skills in using cameras and editing software to produce professional media materials for communication and promotional use.

2. Video Editing Support

• Edit the Voices from the Sectors video series and other media products.
• Provide finalized video materials that align with BSI’s mission and partnership work with the construction sector.
• Support with organizing and delivering complementary materials (e.g., footage, photos, program information).

3. Translation Support

• Translate scripts and written communication materials between Thai and English.
• Ensure translations are clear, accurate, and consistent with Baan Dek Foundation’s tone and messaging.

4. Graphic Design

• Assist in developing promotional and communication materials such as brochures, infographics, and videos.
• Receive guidance and feedback to improve design skills throughout the internship.

5. Support for Dao Ethical Gifts Communication
(Per MoU between Baan Dek Foundation and Dao Ethical Gifts. These tasks represent ~10% of the role.)

• Organize and store media assets (photos, videos) on Google Shared Drive for Dao Ethical Gifts communication needs.

Support Roles

1. PDPA Compliance Support

• Manage and collect consent forms in alignment with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

2. Visibility and Outreach

• Contribute to increasing awareness of Baan Dek Foundation’s work through content creation for social media and websites.
• Edit and adapt multimedia content to ensure alignment with the organization’s communication objectives.

3. Capacity Building

• Participate in internal trainings and workshops to enhance communication, media, and technical skills.

Your Profile

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in photography and videography.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required. Familiarity with Lightroom, InDesign, and Premiere Pro is preferred.
• Comfortable using AI tools for media and design tasks.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Demonstrated interest in human and child rights, and social development work.

Other Competencies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Native Thai speaker with conversational English proficiency.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to manage time effectively, with support through regular check-ins and flexible work arrangements.

Baan Dek is a Thai registered foundation with the mission of facilitating access to education, healthcare, and safety for all children in need from the construction sector.100% of donations received are spent on our projects in Thailand.

Today, Baan Dek takes care of more than 1,000 vulnerable children in Chiang Mai. It knows them each one by one and provide critical support by ensuring that they can receive an education, access healthcare, and live in a safe environment.
