Program Background
The Economic and Social Infrastructure Program (ESIP) is an Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) program implemented by DT Global.
Under strategic direction from DFAT officials at the Australian High Commission in PNG, ESIP is delivering a range of activities and policy initiatives in the energy and telecommunications sectors. ESIP is also supporting PNG’s state-owned enterprise performance improvement program and delivering social infrastructure planning, design and construction services.
Gender equity, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI) and social and environmental safeguards are a focus of the program and are mainstreamed across ESIP’s activities and operations
The Role
The Communications and Public Diplomacy Specialist will lead the design and delivery of strategic communications and public diplomacy for the Pawarim Komuniti Partnerships (PKP) off-grid energy program, showcasing results and lessons from community partnerships and off grid energy investments.
