Tetra Tech ARD (http://www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Chief of Party (COP) position on a USAID funded program El Salvador. The program will likely focus on municipal governance and competitiveness.
The COP will be responsible for the overall implementation of the project. The COP will provide quality assurance/quality control of all program deliverables as well as provide leadership, supervision, and direction to the project’s field.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of a Master’s degree in social sciences, international development, public administration or related field;
* A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as a Chief of Party or Project Director/Manager on donor-funded projects; experience on USAID-funded projects preferred;
* Demonstrated experience working with and collaborating with private sector actors;
* Demonstrated experience working on economic growth and competitiveness projects as well as gender and youth at risk programs;
* Demonstrated municipal development and decentralization experience in Latin America (Central America preferred);
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish;
