Workplace
For the duration of the internship, our offices will be temporarily relocated due to renovations. The team will be based at another partner organization, in a location different from our usual headquarters.
This temporary context implies different reception conditions than usual but offers a dynamic working environment conducive to professional exchanges. We remain fully committed to ensuring a calm, functional, and collaborative workspace.
The training course will take place at the Bioforce training center in Vénissieux Minguettes.

It develops and implements emergency, rehabilitation, and development programs in water, hygiene and sanitation, food security, rural development, and socio-educational and psychosocial support. Internship Overview
TGH is seeking 3 Desk Assistant interns to support desk teams in monitoring projects, focusing on contractual, operational, geopolitical monitoring, and communication aspects.
Desks Include:
- RCA, Ukraine, Ethiopia
- Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Chad
- Burma, North Korea, Yemen, Nepal, Algeria, Pakistan
Supervision will be provided by the geographical manager, with pedagogical tutoring organized within the desk team.
Key Responsibilities
Project Monitoring
- Provide daily support for programs, focusing on contractual and operational aspects
- Collect information for drafting donor reports
- Assist in drafting and consolidating narrative reports (interim and final)
- Participate in revision requests for ongoing projects in collaboration with field teams and technical contacts
- Support new funding searches and draft funding proposals with field teams and experts
- Archive project documents and update reporting tools
- Contribute to improving reporting and monitoring systems
Capitalization and Communication
- Ensure country and project fact sheets, brochures, and other documents are up to date
- Develop fact sheets for landlords (operations, expectations, specificities)
- Support communication efforts, including publications and annual reports
- Participate in events and activities for the general public, such as humanitarian cafés and regional interventions
Administrative Support
- Support desks and missions in administrative and compliance procedures (visas, document certifications)
Miscellaneous
- Monitor geopolitical developments in intervention countries and provide summaries twice a month
- Participate in pre-departure briefings for expatriates
- Archive project documents and write meeting minutes
- Undertake possible field visits as required
Profile
- General university studies (e.g., Sciences Po, international relations, project management)
- Specialization in international solidarity / humanitarian action preferred
- Excellent writing skills in French and English
- Knowledge of major funding agencies and the project cycle
- Understanding of geopolitical issues
- Excellent command of MS Office
- Curiosity, proactivity, and interest in monitoring and evaluating programs
