Support the work of the Digital Transformation Unit in the Division of Production, Productivity and Management.
Contribute to communication strategy implementation, event coordination, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies.
Support the organization of events, meetings, and working group sessions.
Draft and design communication materials, including newsletters, infographics, and reports.
Prepare presentations and visual content for internal and external audiences.
Provide research assistance on topics related to digital transformation, economic development, and regional cooperation.
Support the design and layout of publications and online materials.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Enrolled in, or completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s) or a graduate school programme (second degree or higher).
Basic knowledge or interest in the economics of science, technology, and innovation, and/or policy experience.
Ability to manipulate and analyse data is desirable.
Interest in the work of the United Nations is required.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and ability to design visual presentations is desirable.
Ability to draft communication materials.
Knowledge of design software is desirable.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Languages
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.
