The opportunity

• Permanent full-time role based in Australia – hybrid, remote, or in-office arrangements available
• Candidates must have valid work rights in Australia
• Lead strategic growth, drive technical excellence, and foster impactful partnerships across Australia and the Indo-Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Humanitarian Preparedness and Response practice area
• Develop and execute strategic positioning and marketing initiatives
• Build and manage client relationships across public and private sectors
• Oversee complex project delivery, ensuring quality and compliance
• Drive business development through bid leadership and market intelligence
• Mentor teams and foster cross-sector collaboration
• Represent Tetra Tech in policy dialogues and strategic forums

Selection criteria

• Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate preferred) in a relevant field
• Extensive experience in humanitarian preparedness, civil-military coordination, or related sectors
• Proven success in business development and bid management
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
• Commercial acumen and financial analysis skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Strategic thinker with a collaborative and inclusive approach
