The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Projects Directorate (PJ) - Innovation & Competitiveness Department (INCO) - Innovative Supply Chain & Process Industries Division (SCPI) at its headquarters in Luxembourg: TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st March/April 2026)

Objective of the traineeship
Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) are those materials that are considered crucial in the digital and green transitions, they have both a high economic importance for the European Union and a supply risk due to their scarcity and/or concentration from single sources. You will support the Bank’s internal team in consolidating knowledge on the topic of Critical Raw Materials, in particular by providing background research on market, supply chain and technology trends as well as analysing the Bank’s the investment potential of future projects.
