The Role


The HR Onboarding & Operations Officer will provide comprehensive end‑to‑end administrative, onboarding, and recruitment support to the People & Culture team across the Asia Pacific region. The role is responsible for coordinating onboarding processes, managing negotiation activities, supporting local negotiation workflows, and ensuring accurate documentation and system updates to enable a seamless new hire experience. This position works closely with the Onboarding Manager – APAC, program teams, and external candidates to deliver timely, high‑quality operational support that contributes to regional HR efficiency and consistency.

About You

You are a proactive and detail‑oriented HR professional with experience in onboarding, recruitment coordination, and HR administration, confident in managing candidate communication, preparing documentation, and supporting negotiation processes. You work effectively across diverse teams and APAC contexts, applying sound judgement to interpret varying country requirements and ensure compliance throughout the onboarding and PRAC/negotiation workflow. Highly organised and adaptable, you balance multiple priorities with accuracy, maintain clear and reliable records, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and the overall new‑hire experience.

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (preferred but not essential with equivalent experience).
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in an internal HR role with exposure to onboarding, recruitment coordination, or HR operations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting employment documentation, data entry, and HR administration with high accuracy.
  • Experience liaising with candidates or stakeholders during recruitment, onboarding, or HR processes.

Desirable

  • Experience working in recruitment, staffing, or headhunting, including candidate engagement, screening, managing candidate expectations, or coordinating offers.
  • Experience supporting compensation discussions, preparing offer documentation, or assisting with negotiation processes (within approved parameters).
  • Demonstrated experience using an HRIS system (Workday or similar platforms such as HiBob highly regarded).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including confidence managing trackers, templates, and reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail with excellent data accuracy and document quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with candidates, program teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle fast‑paced, high‑volume workloads.
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks autonomously while maintaining professional service levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with willingness to support process improvement.
  • Comfortable working across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones within the APAC region.
