Role Purpose:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aims to be a strategic business partner, aligning talent management with organizational objectives. This role seeks to foster a high-performance and commitment culture, acting as a liaison between Human Capital areas and business units. The HRBP is responsible for implementing people policies and programs that strengthen well-being, inclusion, and talent development, ensuring the institution has the necessary capabilities to achieve its goals sustainably and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Human Capital for assigned areas, listening to their needs, anticipating obstacles or conflicts, supporting the definition of future capabilities to accompany growth, and executing necessary actions to ensure their resolution.
  • Collaborate with process leaders in designing practices and solutions, according to detected needs in their area, to support achieving solutions aligned with each area’s strategy and Human Capital, innovative and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Advise leaders of assigned areas on people management to contribute to executive decision-making and minimize labor conflicts.
  • Analyze new trends and best practices in banking and multilateral sectors through market studies, meetings with clients, other organizations, and governments, to generate new policies, strategies, and solutions that allow the incorporation of innovative operational models.
  • Support the implementation, marketing, and communication of main Human Capital practices and solutions to ensure their effective implementation to the staff of assigned areas, as defined by process leaders.
  • Plan the execution of all Human Capital processes (Recruitment and Selection, Induction and internship programs, Compensation, Well-being, Labor Relations, Development, Career and Succession, Performance Management, Training, Culture, Climate, and employee exit) through process leaders to ensure compliance with policies and programs, current legal regulations, and requirements of clients from assigned areas.

Selection Criteria:

  • University degree in Industrial Relations, Psychology, Administration, or related fields, with a master’s degree and/or certifications in Human Resources such as coaching, mentoring, or HRBP.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of specific experience in comprehensive human resources management in financial institutions, preferably in multilateral organizations.
  • Bilingual professional in Spanish/English. Preferably with advanced knowledge of Portuguese.
  • Located in the following countries: Peru, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago

Key Technical Skills:

  • Data Management and Human Resources Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret human resources data to make informed and strategic decisions about the workforce. This includes using HRMS software and predictive analytics.
  • Development and Implementation of Human Resources Strategies: Ability to design and implement human resources strategies aligned with business objectives, including succession plans, talent development, and change management.
  • Knowledge of Labor Legislation: Deep understanding of current labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization complies with all local and international standards.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Experience in managing processes related to attracting, developing, retaining, and disengaging employees, ensuring a positive experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
