Role Description  

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior to Mid Third Party Monitoring Officer at SoCha, based in our Labourdonnais office in Mauritius. The responsibilities include supporting third-party monitoring activities, maintaining and developing tools, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures and reporting. The TPM Officer will, inter alia, collaborate with teams to coordinate site visits, stay on top of the operating context, monitor security reports, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and team members effectively.
• Solid Analytical and Writing skills to evaluate data, ensure accuracy, and assess compliance with established protocols.
• Basic skills with sampling (e.g. random route), kobo toolbox and qualitative tools are preferred. 
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Health, Humanitarian assistance, International Development, or equivalent would be useful.
• Exposure and understanding of Myanmar and Southeast Asia is a strong asset.
• Prior experience in third party monitoring; specific experience with humanitarian assistance, camp management and/or health a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Sphere and/or CHS Standards also a plus.
