Support the International Trade and Integration Division in ECLAC, Santiago, Chile.
Conduct legal research on national regulations for different types of digitally enabled services trade by countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Compile, research, and gather information from a wide variety of legal sources.
Collect and organize data.
Process data and statistics.
Identify, interpret, analyze, and format data and statistics.
Summarize pertinent material.
Attend and summarize conferences and meetings.
Prepare input for electronic databases and the internet.
Prepare charts, graphs, and other outputs for reporting and presentation of various data.
Build special data sets for specific research needs or for reports.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Minimum education requirement: High school diploma.
Applicants must be a student in the final year of a first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s, or Ph.D. program, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program.
Field of study should be law or closely related to the internship.
No prior professional work experience is required.
Official certificate required at a later stage.
Languages
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
