The Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM), based in Beijing, is a regional ESCAP institute with the mandate to:
Promote technical cooperation among ESCAP members and other interested UN member States
Facilitate information exchange, knowledge sharing, and R&D in sustainable agricultural mechanization
Support achievement of internationally agreed development goals, including the SDGs
The internship is:
UNPAID and full-time
Minimum duration: 2 months, extendable up to 6 months
Work schedule: 5 days/week (37.5 hours)
Supervised by a staff member in the assigned division or office
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting ongoing projects
Assisting in social media outreach
Providing administrative support
Preparing presentations
Consolidating and sorting data
Qualifications/Special Skills
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate programme (second university degree or higher)
Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level)
Languages
Working languages of the UN Secretariat: English and French
Fluency in English is required for this internship

Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of the intern or their sponsoring institution.
