The Statistics Division’s Civil Registration and Vital Statistics internship is for a minimum of two months, with the possibility of extension up to six months if required.
The internship is UNPAID and full-time (35 hours per week).
Interns work under the supervision of a staff member in the assigned department.
ESCAP Statistics Division operates under the Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics, the Principles Governing International Statistical Activities, and mandates from the General Assembly, ECOSOC, and ESCAP resolutions.

The Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) work supports implementation of ESCAP resolution 71/14 on the Asia and Pacific CRVS Decade, 2015–2024.
