About the Role
The REDD+ Safeguards Technical Specialist:
(i) review and development of the Terms of Reference for Focal Points (National and Sub-national),
(ii) develop the Memorandum of Understanding between CCDA and key REDD+ sectors, and
(iii) develop the Standard Operating Procedures for key processes to operationalise the NRSG and efficient functioning of the RSAC Unit.
About the Climate Finance Capacity Support Programme
DT Global delivers the Capacity Support Programme for MFAT. The scope of this programme is quite broad as its aim is to be responsive to the needs of Pacific Island countries. It includes providing personnel or training to assist with:
· delivering and reporting on the flexible finance provided by MFAT;
· developing/updating national climate change plans and reporting frameworks;
· developing an investment-ready pipeline of projects;
· delivering climate change priorities;
· improving climate finance reporting; and
· accessing a broader range of climate finance funding.
