About The Engagement:
Katalis is supporting an Australian-owned aged care facility (beneficiary organisation) in Jakarta, Indonesia to upskill 20 Indonesian students in an accredited Australian aged care qualification (CHC33021Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing). Katalis is seeking an innovative and growth-focused Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to deliver this course. Delivery will be online, with the practical assessments undertaken at the Australian-standard aged care facility in Jakarta. Course delivery needs to begin no later than January 2025 and be completed over a consecutive six-month period. This is a commercially sustainable activity, which will continue between the RTO and the aged care facility after the successful completion of Katalis’s funding for the first cohort. The RTO will negotiate a commercial agreement directly with the aged care facility in Indonesia for successive cohorts.

Katalis is seeking to appoint an RTO for 12 months to deliver a Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing for 20 students in Jakarta, Indonesia. Delivery will be online, with the practical assessments undertaken at the Beneficiary’s Australian-standard aged care facility in Indonesia. Course delivery needs to begin no later than January 2025 and be completed over a consecutive six-month period. This activity will be overseen by a management team with representatives from Katalis, the RTO, and the Beneficiary. The contract period will be 12 months (October 2024 - September 2025), with the last deliverable due in August 2025.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
We are in search of an RTO with a stellar track record to handle key aspects of our project:
Why It Matters:
Katalis emphasises Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) in all its activities, and it is a requirement of the RTO to identify opportunities to promote gender and social inclusion in this activity. It is expected that most students will be female, which is in line with data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2019 which noted that 70% of Indonesia’s 1.2 million health workers are women. This figure is consistent with the World Health Organization (WHO) research which noted that women account for 67% of the global health and social care workforce.
