The Asian Development Bank will lend Sri Lanka some USD154.4 million to help upgrade roads in the country’s conflict-torn northern region. The project, which will be implemented by the Road Development Authority, will upgrade 170 kilometers of national highways and 140 kilometers of provincial roads. It is expected to be completed by June 2015, Lanka Business Online reports.
