Australia Ups Humanitarian Assistance to Samoa

    Australia is providing an additional

    (USD4.58 million) to support recovery and reconstruction efforts in Samoa, which was struck by a tsunami on Sept. 30. The fresh funding will be used to restore infrastructure and basic services, expedite relief and recovery operations, and strengthen the country's reconstruction plans.
