    Top organizations contracting with USAID

    Devex looks at the top 10 organizations contracting with USAID — many are currently seeking long- or short-term consultants to provide technical expertise and support the delivery of global programs.

    The United States Agency for International Development is one of the largest bilateral donors tackling a range of development issues. For those looking to work on USAID-funded programs, a majority of the job opportunities are with their implementing partners. Here’s a look at 10 organizations contracting with USAID — compiled from awardees that received the most funding from USAID in 2017 — a mixture of development consulting firms and implementing NGOs. In addition to looking for staff to help run their home office operations and regional hubs, these organizations are also frequently looking for long- and short-term consultants to provide technical expertise and support the delivery of their global programs. Chemonics International Founded: 1975 Organization type: Development consulting Headquarters: Washington, D.C.
