Abdirisaq Ismail Yusuf

Mr Yusuf is a Senior RoL expert having worked extensively with the Somali Constitutional Review Process, most recently in the capacity as a Legal Advisor to the Somali Federal Parliament. Mr.Yusuf regularly undertook capacity building activities for the Somali Federal Parliament, members of Civil Society and other stakeholders on the constitutional review process. In his role as a Legal Advisor Yussuf led a number of studies aiming at providing experience sharing into constitutional mechanisms drawing lessons learned from other countries. Yussuf has also been appointed as the Director of the Economic Research & Statistics Department at the Central Bank of Somalia on two seperate rounds. In his role Yussuf led a number of studies and developed policies with the aim of providing best-practice examples relating to the restructuring of the Bank. Yussuf has through his extensive work at the Central Bank been equipped with experience in macroeconomic policy planning, budgeting and monetary policy.
