Summary

Andy is an internationally-recognised professional with extensive practical and high-level experience with regard to rural development, participatory natural resource management, land tenure reform processes, market-based initiatives for smallholders, SME initiation/incubation and support, rural livelihoods, rural sectors' governance and poverty reduction programmes. He is also a multi-sector participatory event/process facilitation expert, with wide experience of designing methods & processes to make inception, project design, decision-making & evaluation processes more inclusive & effective. Andy has over 20 years of consultancy and team development/leadership experience and has managed staff of programmes/projects/teams, conducted bid/tender proposals, programme design, policy analysis, institutional development and evaluation work with and for international agencies, national governments, local authorities, local communities, NGOs & the private sector. He can provide global, national and local perspectives on inclusive and sustainable rural development, governance, tenure issues, poverty reduction, SME and PES development, certification processes, biodiversity conservation and climate change.
