ADAM MBUNDURE

Dr. Adam Mbundure is a highly accomplished professional with over 30 years' experience managing finance, administration, audit and compliance globally; 25 of these years at executive level within large international nongovernmental organizations in the United States, Africa, and Eastern Europe. He has considerable experience managing US Government funds (contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants.) He has also managed large Food Aid and Monetization program finances, as well as DFID, EU, Global Fund and other major donor agency funds. Dr. Mbundure has managed in complex humanitarian emergency contexts and been part to many organizational and systems design team assignments. He has trained, worked and traveled extensively in Africa, Asia, Europe and the US, and he has extensive experience with UN Agencies, especially WFP, UNICEF and UNDP. Dr. Mbundure has a wealth of experience and knowledge managing across cultures and country contexts. He is a subject matter expert around compliance and risk approaches to managing and leading projects. An outside-the-box and innovative thinker, he thrives under pressure and relishes challenges, always focused on trouble-shooting, finding solutions and new ways of doing business in a cost-effective and ethical manner.
