Freelance consultant in humanitarian, development and peacebuilding, with over 15 years expertise in protection, including in complex crisis and conflict, Frédéric Baele is a seasoned humanitarian and development professional who served as the Regional Head of Programme for the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in West, North and Latin America. He has extensive experience in programme management in difficult contexts, with a track record of successes and projects who sustained. He held various roles as technical expert (protection), as a freelance consultant and in senior management positions for other NGOs such as GOAL and the Terre des hommes Foundation. His expertise spans project management, capacity building, business development, strategic planning and representation. He holds a Master's in Sociology and a Bachelor's in Social Work. Fluent in multiple languages, Frédéric is also skilled in group facilitation and strategy development.
