Seasoned international development professional with more than 17 years of experience developing, managing, monitoring and evaluating political/economic transition, conflict-mitigation and capacity-building programs in fragile and developing states. History of increasingly responsible research, M&E, communication and program management positions at USAID, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) and range of development implementing partners, with short-term work experience in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Yemen, the Philippines, Nepal, Georgia and Bolivia, among other countries. Robust knowledge of qualitative and quantitative M&E tools and methods, and of USAID and DOS M&E practices and requirements. Strong communication skills (5+ years of additional experience as a journalist and editor). Master’s degree in international affairs from GW University. Certified USAID Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) with current secret-level USG security clearance.
