Ms. Camoens has over 25 years of significant project management and leadership experience. Ms. Camoens experience as Chief of Party (CoP)/Acting CoP includes: Washington DC (currently), Afghanistan (twice), Iraq (twice), Indonesia, Haiti, Nigeria, Zambia, Paraguay. She was COP/Acting COP on projects with very large budgets -- $230 million in Afghanistan and $1 billion in Nigeria. She has successfully managed over 39 USAID projects (including those with grant components) around the world while ensuring accountability and high-quality performance with regards to organizational targets, successful project work plans implementation and on-budget performance. She has effectively managed, mentored, and led hundreds of employees, and collaborated with a wide array of stakeholders from Presidents of countries to mothers in rural villages. She has 2 master’s degrees from Columbia University in NY.
