Mr. Bright Senam GOWONU has more than 8 years of professional experience in the areas of food security, advocacy, intra-regional trade and transport facilitation in West Africa. He is seasoned in the area of transit trade, in strengthening the capacity of public and private actors in West Africa, facilitating regional trade, food security interventions, coordinating high-level workshops, project management and excellent knowledge monitoring and evaluation. Mr. Gowonu has excellent multi-tasking abilities, while remaining highly detail-oriented, proactive, selfless and adaptive. With strong communication skills and positive attitudes, Mr. Gowonu speaks fluent French and has been working and travelling extensively in ECOWAS/UEMOA Member countries. He has extensive working experience with USAID West Africa Trade Hub project (UEMOA OPA Initiative), Borderless Alliance West Africa and World Bank Intra- African Talent Mobility Partnership (TMP) Program.
