Mr. Mensah is a seasoned development practitioner, economist, and researcher with extensive experience in international NGOs and the public sector in sub–Saharan Africa. He specializes in project management, data coordination and management, and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). Mr. Mensah has worked across international, regional and subnational levels, designing and managing MEL systems and leveraging technology for efficient, high-quality programming. He has collaborated with multiple partner organizations to develop participatory MEL tools, methods, and capacities. Skilled in research design and implementation, project planning, surveying, data analytics, and data visualization, Mr. Mensah has successfully managed the M&E functions for the Ghana Strengthening Accountability Mechanisms Activity and the Ghana Performance Accountability Activity, both funded by USAID. He has effectively used his technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across a wide range of project partners and donors (Mastercard Foundation, European Union, Gates Foundation etc). As an experienced team leader and trainer, Mr. Mensah is highly results-oriented and excels in creative project adaptation, reflection, and learning. His ability to drive projects toward impactful outcomes while fostering collaboration and capacity-building makes him an asset in the development sector.
