Mxolisi is a passionate economic development researcher, currently conducting a Master's research on financial inclusion, income inequality and poverty in the SADC region. Originally from Eswatini, Mxolisi has adequate knowledge of the South African social, economic development context, as he has conducted numerous research and assignments related to local economic development, microenterprise development and finance during his time studying Development Finance at Nelson Mandela Uniiversity, PE. Mxolisi has 8 years of experience in programme design, implementation, M&E of SME development, agriculture and rural development projgrammes co-financed by the Government of Eswatini and its development partners (EU, IFAD, UNDP, CCARDESA, COMESA). These programs focus on unlocking public and private financial resources to improve access to finance, capacity building and access to markets for smallholder farmers and SMEs.
