I am a mid-level professional with c. nine years of experience in the financial advisory space focusing on project finance initiatives for infrastructure and energy investment, typically under Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). I have delivered buy and sell side financial advisory mandates on behalf of private sector investors (investment managers, developers, etc.) as well as structuring/tendering advice on greenfield and brownfield PPP projects to central governments/local authorities of emerging countries and multilateral donors (i.e. development finance institutions). My daily duties include carrying out project valuations, feasibility studies, financial modelling, due diligence and PPP tender management, I also deliver financial structuring/lending advice as well as institutional capacity building/training. In delivering structuring advice, I mostly look to apply blended finance techniques whereby the funding of infrastructure projects is sourced and matched through both concessional and commercial capital.
