12 September 2023: I am a male, 60 years old with 39 years' worth of experience, mainly as Public Financial Management expert, conducting SAI Audit assignments (South Africa), PFM advisory and reform services, serving as Chief Financial Officer at sub-national government level (South Africa). I have conducted 3 PEFA assessments as well as a PEFA pre-assessment in The Gambia. I was the team leader in Nigeria (Ondo) for a SAI and PAC reform project, conducted a Budget Support assessment at local government level (South Africa) based on the OECD framework. Currently involved in a project "Support to the formulation of the EU PFM Program in Ethiopia". In addition I have recently (i) done UNCDF based Climate Change Adaptation LoCAL assessments in Lesotho and The Gambia including conducting Training of the Trainer in The Gambia, (ii) conducted a restructuring exercise in Pakistan, Punjab government's Property Tax Revenue Ministry's Internal Audit unit, (iii) compiled a mid-term review of the INTOSAI-IDI Strategic Plan, (iv) supported the Internal Audit Division in Sierra Leone modernizing Strategic Planning and adopting a Risk Based Audit framework, (v) compiled a Public Expenditure Review for the government of Liberia, and (vi) conducted training in Lesotho on applying the UNCDF LoCAL methodology to be adopted in Integrated Catchment Management programmes within the country.
