Having recently relocated to Reykjavik, Iceland following the closure of the 'flagship" USAID Enterprise Development and Growth Enhanced project I was leading, I am seeking challenging Executive opportunities in Europe, Canada, Africa or other regions in the areas of SME finance, business growth, climate adaptation and resilience, and sustainable development. I have over 25 years of experience leading development efforts in economic growth, agriculture, value chain development, food security in Africa, East and Central Asia, and Canada’s Arctic. This includes 15 years of agribusiness, access to finance, agriculture, market access and SME programming experience, including 10+ years living and working in Africa on private sector development. I possess 20+ years’ experience of high-level coordination, facilitation and strategic engagement with host-country governments, funds, IFIs, DFIs, INGOs, commercial banks, MFIs, donors, private sector actors, small holder farmers, agribusinesses, associations and ICT solutions providers. I bring to an organization extensive human resource, financial, procurement and compliance management, strategic planning, policy analysis, communications, monitoring & evaluation, negotiation & facilitation skills, networking and partnership development.
