Madhu Deshmukh currently serves as the interim vice president of programs and senior director for health equity and rights at CARE USA. She has worked globally in sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, women’s empowerment, gender and social development fields over the past 28 years. Madhu has served in leadership positions with diverse stakeholders including government of India, DFID, the U.N., and local and international NGOs, working to scale impact through strategic and large initiatives in complex contexts.
