A Kenyan national, holder of an MBA degree in Finance with years of experience in Banking, Finance and Development project work. Has worked with a wide range of international donors and development agencies in Africa and in Afghanistan. Worked for many years with the African Development Bank providing strategic, and technical support on investment projects/programs, in all phases of the program/project cycle. Given my wide experience in designing financial sector and access interventions and as a financial and institutional expert, I have worked extensively in agricultural and rural development, financial sector interventions on access to finance (banking, rural and microfinance interventions); reviewing policies, systems, procedures and mechanisms for delivery of financial services; financing of Small-Medium Enterprises (SME's); and developing of livelihood enterprises support measures etc. Extensive experience evaluating donor-funded projects including USAID, AfDB, World Bank/IMF, EU, Sida etc.
