Marie-Joséphine is the Deputy Head of Program of the Regional Resource Governance in West Africa (ReGo) Program at the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). She joined the ReGo program in 2018 and has since worked in three of the four partner countries, namely Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone where she is currently based. Her main responsibilities are the strategic and technical development of activities in ReGo in Sierra Leone as well as the planning, control and implementation of measures of the overall program and in particular the ASM component. Before joining GIZ, Marie-Joséphine worked for the Natural Resource Governance Institute as the Project Coordinator of Guinea Mining Sector Technical Assistance after having served as an economist to the Canadian federal public service in Ottawa for 16 years. Before joining the public sector, she started her career in the financial sector in Canada and Switzerland. Marie-Joséphine holds a M.A. in Economics from Université de Montpellier
