A Ugandan professional with over 13 years hands-on experience in Programmes and projects’ management, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization & management, team leadership and development. Have gained rich experience working with reputable international organizations namely; Africare, AMREF, World Vision International, SUNRISE/HIV/AIDS Alliance and CARDINO/USAID SDS Programme.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Management studies (MSS) of Uganda Management Institute Kampala, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration & Management of UMI Kampala, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences (BA.SS [Hons] Makerere University Kampala, a Uganda Diploma in Business Studies (UDBS), and certificates in Public Administration & Management Makerere University and effective Management for Community- based Institutions among others. I have core competences in strategic planning, grant management, program assessments & implementation, coordination & networking, and have gained rich hands on experience working with development programs/projects under a decentralized setting by developing cross cutting intervention packages, evaluation of strategies and prioritization of tasks to meet donor requirements.
I have designed and led teams in management of development programs with major thematic areas focused on livelihood improvement, education, child protection, care and support, HIV/AIDS/OVC, malaria, relief and development, overseeing community tailored grant and consortium managed programs with strong involvement of Government of Uganda (GoU).
