A UK and Caribbean Special Branch and Counter-Terrorism professional and currently advisor and trainer for Penal Reform International (criminal investigations, human rights, ethics and integrity). Worked in over 20 countries and managed and led numerous capacity and capability development programmes and projects undertaking assessments, reviews and evaluations and designing and delivering organisational development frameworks and delivering subsequent change and training packages. Experienced in working with political representatives, police teams, prosecutors, judiciary, community leaders, NGOs and other key law enforcement partners. For 6 years was Senior Police Adviser to the United States Security coordination mission in Israel and Palestine, delivered numerous projects and provided extensive development, training and mentoring to all sectors of the Palestinian Police and Security apparatus. Previously, Director of Studies managing the Palestinian Security Services and Leadership Academy delivering a high-level leadership programme. Led Police and criminal justice development programmes in the Caribbean, Turkey, Syria, the Middle East, East Africa, Eastern Europe, Libya, Uganda and other countries. Delivered counter-terrorism training programmes and training to Tunisian Ministries and security organisations. Significant experience working with United Nations organisations and retained by UNDP on the Libyan Criminal Justice strengthening programme. A current recruit assessor for the UK College of Policing. One of a small band of senior leaders who have successfully graduated from both the UK Police and UK Army Senior Command courses.
