Summary

Rohan Burdett is an independent Security and Justice Development Consultant based in London who specialises in security sector reform (SSR), justice/ rule of law and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL). He has extensive experience in leadership and senior advisory role researching, designing, implementing and evaluating programmes and projects throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa, as well as in the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and the South Pacific. He has worked extensively in fragile and conflict-affected states, supporting governments and civil society to meet key development and stabilisation objectives. Rohan has a strong senior leadership background in consulting, NGOs and Government. He was a co-founder of Libra Advisory Group, a specialist security and justice consultancy, which was successfully sold to Coffey International Development, where he subsequently served as a Principal in the EMEA Governance, Security & Justice practice. Rohan's early career was spent as an Australian diplomat, with postings to Papua New Guinea and South Korea. He has also served as an Australian Army Reserve officer, including with the International Force East Timor.
