Am writing in kind request for a position consideration as a Senior adviser-agribusiness.Am a Graduate from the Jomo Kenyatta University of agriculture and technology having taken a Bsc in Food Science and Post Harvest Technology and attained a second class honors. Am also a finalist of the Institute Of Christian Works,USA having taken a Diploma In Biblical Studies.

Am a Licensed Lead Auditor/QMS Auditor in ISO 9000:2015 (IRCA 17929/A1317) and also a Lead Auditor in ISO 18000:2015 by Bureau Veritas Kenya having taken a Lead Auditors course and accredited by International Registration Of Certified Auditors.

Iam current working as a Group Compliance officer for Vegpro group ltd(Kenya,Ghana and Ethiopia).In this am charged with all technicalities involving audits and compliance for 21 farms in Kenya(both flowers and vegetables),7 large Cooperatives/Out growers groups and 5 Large Food Packhouses(more than 21 tonnes Output per day) as well as 31 Flowers Packhouses.All compliance to Occupation Health and Safety (ISO 14000:2015),ISO 9001:2015,Social Audits; Ethical Trade Initiatives(E.T.I),Fairtrade Audits,Kenya Flowers Council(K.F.C) Social as well as Production Processes Compliant;BRC(British Retail Consortium),ISO 9001:2015,KFC Silver,Fair trade,Kauflang,GLOBAL GAP,Tesco Nurture,M&S,Internal Audits,Flo cert,Ethic trade initiatives, Field to Fork audits as well as Statutory audits including Environmental Impact Assessment Audits(E.I.A) Noise Survey Audits(DOHSS),Health and Safety Audit(DOHSS),Fire Safety Audits, Environment Audits, Energy Audits, Kenya Civil Aviation Security Audits(Avisec Audits)

Before then I was working as a Production manager for Eco Agribusiness International group which was a business venture by European Union (E.U)under Community Development Trust Fund (C.D.T.F)in Kenya doing value addition for various fruits into products like jams,chutneys and other products.The project is funded under community development trust fund(CDTF) by the European Union.I was involved in monitoring and evaluation of the project and project impact around Mt kenya region

In the position I was involved with all operations in the company ranging from Field Services dealing with Farmers Groups(Cooperatives),Harvesting and procuring of Fresh produces, Training farmers on various farming aspects, Full Production of processed products in the company.I was also involved in Business advisory meeting as well as handling new clients.

Iam a certified internal auditor trained by ICRC as a professional auditor

Iam also a trained Trainer Of Trainers By The European Union PIP Act under the Global Gap Standards where per took the training on Food Safety, Hygiene and Quality Assurance Training in June and July 2014.

I have been working as a Technical Consultant at Elite Plants International in establishment of their farm .This is a horticultural company involved in growing Roses,Gypsophila as well as propagating Roses for sales.I dealt with the establishment of the enterprise more so dealing with Gypsophila,Roses and Some Trials of Ammi Visnaga.

Iam a trained Auditor on Food safety and Hygiene as well as experience having been an internal auditor trainee for Tambuzi Ltd.Am also trained by European Union PIP Act on Trainer Of Trainers on Food Safety,Hygiene and Quality Assurance.
I have 5 years experience in Management having worked for Tambuzi Ltd(a 90 HA Horticultural farm growing Scented Roses,Ammi Visnaga,Gyposphila, Herbs Such as Lavenda dentata,Common and Lemon Thyme,Oregano,Sweet green Herb ,scented roses and foliage crops as well as vegetables ) for 4 years in Various Capacities(Both Administration and Management Capacities)including last Title where am a Management Trainee (HR and Adimnstration)and a Food Herbs Auditor,Prior to this appointment i have worked as a CSR OFFICER/FAIR TRADE DIRECTIVE OFFICER as well as a Management Intern in HR office .

I have also worked as a Part Time Librarian with the Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture and Technology for 6 months as well as an Intern With The Ministry of Agriculture and livestock development Juja Division and Ruiru Division where i have been posted intermittently for 8 months as an Intern (National Government when the Ministry was not yet devolved)

In 2014 I also worked as an intern with County Government Of Kiambu Juja Subcounty in the Ministry Of Agriculture.

I have also been a part time distributor coordinator at Old Gold Solutions(a plastic card selling company).I hereby wish to apply for the position as it is in line with my training as well as my passion .

At Tambuzi Ltd I have worked for HR, Audits Department where i have been involved with various types of Food System Audits and other Audits including GLOBAL GAP,SEDEX,FAIRTRADE,AND KFC AUDITS and has been in the fore front in undertaking Internal Audits at Tambuzi (Including Food Safety internal Audits, Energy Audits, Environment Audits, Quality Assurance Audits as well as Pre Audits for External Audits which include GLOBAL GAP Re Certification Audits,SEDEX Audits,FAIRTRADE Labelling Organaisation Audits,and Kenya Flowers Council Audits.I have also been involved in re evaluation and review of all operating Manuals in the company as well as document control.

I have also been in the Sales and Export Department where i have been doing the invoice,handling customer complaints,Marketing of flowers and food herbs ,Customers orders handling,Freight and Shipment of Flowers as well as other duties.
I have also been in the fore front in conserving the environment through projects aimed at environment and wildlife conservation where I pertake annual audits on Energy,Wildlife and Environment Audits and implementation of all the recommendations at Tambuzi Ltd.
I have also been involved in various stakeholders meeting on Environment, Wildlife and Forest catchment area such as Gakawa CFAstakeholders Meetings ,Burguret River Water Users Association(BRWUA)where am a member, Nature Kenya meetings on stakeholders of Mt Kenya West Eco resource Centre. I have also been involved in education awareness, extension services around Laikipia region.
