I am a multi-skilled ICT specialist with more than 25 years of work experience including 5 years working with USAID, supporting Mission critical IT systems, 5 years in the private sector, managing the MIS system at Hayleys Electronics Ltd., one of the blue chip export/import companies in Sri Lanka and 6 years experience with USAID and USDA projects, involved in ICT4D implementing ICT tools for the Agriculture and Dairy sectors in Sri Lanka. I have volunteered with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) to conduct technical training and capacity building for the NGO sector and Government sector in Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea respectively. My expertise includes designing and developing database systems for MIS and Monitoring and Evaluation for USAID/USDA and local NGO projects. I am currently responsible for managing the design/development & implementation of Mobile Apps and SMS/IVR messaging for the Dairy sector.
