I am a Food and Nutrition Policy Researcher, currently serving as Senior Research Associate at the Capacity Building Commission, Government of India. I hold a PhD in Agriculture Development Studies from the University of Tokyo, funded by the prestigious MEXT Scholarship, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship. My research passion lies in understanding how socioeconomic inequalities shape food and nutrition outcomes. I have three journal publications and contributed two book chapters and three policy briefs, applying advanced econometric techniques (ESTER, Double-hurdle, Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition) using country-level datasets. With prior experience at the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Tokyo, and UNICEF India, I bring both academic rigor and policy relevance to my work. I remain deeply committed to advancing interdisciplinary research on food systems and nutrition security.
