A public health professional with over 35 years of experience in public health policy dialogue and formulation and design, management and evaluation of priority health programs at district, national, regional, and global levels. My skill set includes health priority-setting and strategy-development process, health workforce capacity-building, health systems research and strengthening, and managing communications with medical professionals, government officials, academics, NGOs, and private-sector actors. I have worked closely with regional and international agencies such as the World Health Organization, the West African Health Organization, the World Bank, the East, Central and Southern Africa Health Committee, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on global health security, international health regulations, public health workforce development, prevention and fight against malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and emerging and neglected tropical diseases (e.g. Ebola, Mpox, COVID-19, etc.)
