Sanjib Kumar Jha is a developmental economist with extensive background in economic research and government consulting. He has contributed to policy making and advocacy in Chhattisgarh, MP, Punjab and Myanmar and has worked for DFID, ADB, UNEP, European Environment Agency, etc. Currently, he is providing advisory and policy support to Chief Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh. During his stint at UNICEF, he has prepared goal wise reports for Sustainable Development Goals, Vision 2030 for Govt. of Chhattisgarh for SDG-2, SDG-6, SDG-13, SDG-15. Having a Masters in Economics degree from Delhi School of Economics, he has the ability to build and leverage relationships to bring all stake holders together and coordinate activities between multidisciplinary groups for project planning, implementation and follow through. He is well versed with ecosystem management & TEEB approach with experience in ecosystem services valuation, sustainable agriculture, freshwater valuation, soil conservation and green accounting; He has also contributed to “The Environmental Atlas “with European Environment Agency and “TEEB for Local and Regional Policy Makers” Report.
