For 21 years, I have worked progressively with development programs delivering performance monitoring and evaluation at various levels across various sectors more significantly in areas of improving human capacity, health and education activities; economic growth, agriculture; improved food security and nutrition; infrastructure; natural resources management/environment, tourism; peace, democracy and governance; stabilization; gender; empowerment of women; and Maternal and Child Health, in ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and overall achievement of intended results.
The full range of my technical experience includes; project design and management; supporting collaboration, learning, and adapting (CLA) efforts; strategic planning; managing performance monitoring and evaluation contracts and tasks; setting and operationalizing M&E systems including third-party monitoring (TPM) systems; conducting data quality assessments (DQAs); designing and managing of performance & impact evaluations; conducting M&E capacity-building/training; designing and conducting surveys/field research; data collection methods; data validation and verification; quantitative and qualitative analyses; development of analytical reports; program budgeting; reporting; program audits; and managing of online/web-based M&E databases/performance reporting systems. I possess significant knowledge of USAID programming, including policies, procedures, and documentation related to all areas of the program cycle with a track record of demonstrating strong management skills, and a focus on knowledge management and organizational learning.
I have always provided quality control, and I possess substantial experience of managing group dynamics and high performing teams. I have worked in developing countries and interacted with a broad range of partners, including non-government organizations, multilateral agencies, host government officials and institutions, and I have always developed important professional relations. Countries of my working experience include: Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Tunisia, Iraq, Somalia, Nigeria, and Liberia.
